Convenience Enterprises, Inc. was established with the commitment to developing new, more efficient technologies to enhance food safety as well as saving labor for the industry.

Everyday across the Unites States and many other countries worldwide, numerous restaurants, hotels, caterings and banquets have to deal with a very arduous and time consuming task of "wrapping silverware" in napkins or linens to be placed on the tables for their customers/guests!
Exactly why they would go through all these trouble to wrap all this silverware manually by hand, one… by… one?
To:
Speed up table set up, especially at busy times of the day
To make sure the silverware is more sanitary, and…
To create a better and nicer image for the establishment that is using it.

But unfortunately not only this task is one of the most dreadful tasks that the servers have to endure at work, it is also important to consider the reality of what the manual wrapping of the silverware is costing the establishment in labor and overtime costs. Not to mention that the silverware still has to go through several hands until it gets on the customer's table, therefore increasing the risk of pathogens and foodborne illness caused by them.
Another issue is that the continuous wrapping process could also cause repetitive motion injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome for the employees doing this task.

The solution to solve these problems was invented in 2002 and is now in the process of being developed by Convenience Enterprises, Inc. - developer of cutting-edge Safety and Sanitation technologies for the foodservice industry.
The cutting edge technology, which is called NapWrap™, is the first automated, sanitizing, silverware-wrapping device to be introduced to the foodservice industry.

It is important to look at some facts about the industry in order to understand the benefits that this technology would bring forth:

The National Restaurant Association found that cleanliness of the restaurant is the #1 CUSTOMER CONCERN.

As many as 40% of all 76 million+/yr. foodborne illnesses result from POOR HYGIENE.

The average cost of a foodborne illness outbreak to an establishment is about $75,000.
A single frivolous lawsuit is enough to put a restaurant out of business!

There are 3 major areas in which NapWrap™ will demonstrate considerable benefits for the industry:

1) Staffing & Labor Challenges 2) Sanitation Issues 3) Ergonomics

Convenience Enterprises mission is to provide the highest standards in food safety and operations by delivering efficient, automated technologies that combine labor savings with food safety.

Annually more than 76 million people suffer from one type of foodborne illness in the United States. Over 40% of this figure is associated with improper hygiene and unsanitary practices in the foodservice establishments.

Failing to wash hands alone has been attributed to about 20% of the foodborne illness outbreaks in the US. That is more than 15 millions cases annually.

NapWrap™ will eliminate a major portion of these foodborne illnesses and plays a significant roll in the safety and sanitation of the dining establishments, while improving overall operations, lowering operational and labor costs and minimizing legal exposure.

According to numerous industry experts, NapWrap™'s futures, benefits and savings is destined to be the next proposed global industry standard in the majority of foodservice establishments.
